Each of these properties are only a few minutes walk from award winning shopping stores, Drumboe forest and the river Finn walks. With cafes, restaurants and hotels all within walking distance

Our Accommodation

Jacksons Guest Houses
Tucked away off Ballybofeys main street in a private and quiet cul-de-sac are Jackson's Townhouses. Upmarket and cozy two-story one-bedroom en-suite townhouses.
The exquisitely decorated homes with artwork throughout are warm and restful.
The Townhouses are furnished to exacting standards. With thought put into a good night's sleep the mattress, pillows, mattress topper, duvet and sheets are of exceptional quality and ensure comfort and a good nights rest. 
Downstairs the living, dining and kitchen area are open plan with an adjacent toilet and a sofa bed to accommadate two people. Equipped with fast internet, smart tv, Netflix, books, board games, bundles of comfort. Sleeps max 4 persons
 
Jackson's Riverside Retreat
Located on the banks of river Finn overlooking the Drumboe woods rests Jackson's Riverside Retreat Guest House. An upmarket and cozy two-story five-bedroom home nestled in nature.
The exquisitely furnished and decorated home is very spacious especially the outdoor areas. Upstairs are four bedroms with a mix of king, double and single beds. There are two bathrooms upstairs, one en-suite. Additionally two bedrooms have showers and sinks in the rooms on this level.
Downstairs one will find an open planned living room and large dining room. Next to this is located the fully equipped kitchen. Lastly an ensuite downstairs bedroom which can sleep up to four people and includes a walkin wardrobe. Encompassing the home are two gardens to the front and side of the home where kids can play and suntans can be worked upon.
At the rear is a fantastic outdoor space. There is a hugh outdoor eating area, with a handbuilt brick BBQ, gazebo, pond and special seating in the shade of our wild garden. 
Jacksons Riverside Retreat is within 3 minutes walk to the local vibrant town and a minutes walk to Drumboe woods via foot bridge built 1942.
Equipped with fast broadband, board games for the young and this home sleeps 12. 
 
Jackson's Townhouse
On the main street of Stranorlar is Jackson's Townhouse. This property has 6 newly refirbished en-suite low-priced en-suite bedrooms. Equipped with superior linens, smart tvs, fast boadband and ensuite bathroom, sink and shower. The property has a shared fully equipped kitchen and living and dining areas.

Each of our properties are close to eachother and are perfect starting points to explore all of Donegal. Ideally situated in the centre of Ballybofey & Stranorlar which is located in the center of Donegal and makes a perfect place to explore from. Donegal boasts breathtaking scenery, pristine beaches, rugged islands and an amazing selection of fauna & flora, this northern - almost untouched - stretch of the Wild Atlantic Way is must explore.
 
Sliabh Liag Cliffs (Slieve League)

These stunning sea cliffs are the highest marine cliffs in Europe. Accessible all year round and standing 600m tall, the sheer drop down into the crashing Atlantic swells below is quite the sight.
 
 
Glenveagh National Park

A 16,000-hectare park nestled in the heart of the towering Derryveagh Mountains. Walks to suit all levels of experience and home to the largest herd of red deer in Ireland. There’s also a beautiful old castle on the grounds with gardens and a cafe.
 
 
Grianán of Áileach
35 mins drive
 
This ancient stone ringfort site is believed to have been the seat of the ruling kings of the area, known as the ‘Kingdom of Áileach’. Built in the seventh century with its breathtaking views one can see 5 counties of Ireland from the top.
